WIN 7 Interactive Shortcuts to launch pinned shortcuts
If you “Right Click” and “Pin to Taskbar” on any application an icon will permanently show on your taskbar. If you assign a number to the icon at the time you pin it the shortcuts now automatically have a hotkey assigned to them.

When looking at the taskbar, all of the pinned items or open applications sit to the right of the start button. If you numbered those from left to right, you can open them (or bring them to focus) by pressing the Windows key and the number that corresponds to the position of the application on the taskbar. For example, in the image below, Internet Explorer is sitting in position 1, Windows Explorer is in position 2 and the calculator is in position 3. Have fun and hope this makes your time on your computer more productive and efficient. And comments or suggestions is always appreciated.
