Taskbar for Mulitple Monitors
Operating across multiple monitors is becoming the norm at the office these days and many people wish they had more control of how the windows are set up.
The free utility “MultiMon” will help alleviate some of those multi-monitor woes and bring some efficientcy to your workday.
1. Go to http://www.mediachance.com/download.htm
At the bottom of the page click on the “MultiMon Taskbar |Free option”
2. Save the file locally where you can open it. Most systems will default to your Downloads Folder.
3. Run the file and follow the Prompts.
You will immediately notice that on your secondary monitor you now have another task bar.
Right clicking on your new taskbar gives you 3 options.
By selecting “Properties” and you will be shown a new menu.
Pay particular attention to
Enable your monitors, and ensure you have the “Use Ctrl+Alt+Arrows to Move the window Left/Right” option checked.
You will notice that you now can just click on a window at the bottom of your new taskbar and hit CTRL-ALT-”Left/Right Arrow” and your program will jump to the screen of your choice.
