Creating tasks from email in Outlook 2007

I suspect that many of you use the Tasks feature in Outlook to managed your daily to-do list. I use Outlook to manage my to-do list, and I schedule and complete so many tasks each week that I’ve found that small short-cuts really boost my productivity and save time.

I often receive emails that I want to turn into tasks. This used to be a very manual cut-and-paste process for me until I recently learned a faster way to convert email to tasks. This video demonstrates the short-cut I learned; I hope you find it useful!

Exactly the info I was looking for and the most truly helpful tip I have found in some time now. I was looking for a plug-in to handle this out of shear frustration amd am very pleased to see one is not needed. (Yes, I live in Outlook.)

    Thank you so much!

I didn’t realise one could do that – I’ll use Tasks a lot more, now that I know.
    Thank you :)
