Tips:

  • When you X out of an app, it doesn’t necessarily close the app entirely. To prevent frequent reboots, use your blackberry button to choose Close and properly terminate apps when you’re done, or Switch Application to go back and forth.
  • Hit the space bar to page down in long docs, screens, etc.
  • Hit T in most apps to go back up to the top of the screen.
  • Hold down the Mute button on the top of the phone to put it into Standby. Hit Mute again to take it out of Standby. Standby preserves battery and keeps you from butt-calling someone.
  • You have a downloads folder on the main screen. If you’re trying to download an app, it may show up here. To move it to the main screen, choose Move to Folder and select the Home folder.
