So you think YOUR computer is old?

If you’re like the best of us, you’ve probably had a day when you’ve wanted to throw your “troublesome” or “worthless” computer into the wall. Perhaps this fact will cheer you up – or at least make you appreciate your computer a little more.

The first hard drive available for the Apple II had a capacity of only 5 megabytes. To put this into perspective, the average 1 gigabyte on your hard drive is equal to 1000 megabytes. Most of your computers today probably have between 75 – 120 gigabyes.
